Where exactly is The Outpost located?
We are conveniently located at 7284 Fancy Gap Hwy in Fancy Gap, Virginia 24328, right off the Blue Ridge Parkway and only 2 minutes from I-77 (Exit 8). Plenty of free on-site parking for cars, RVs, and tour groups.
We are open Monday through Thursday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Friday & Saturday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with extended evening music when scheduled), and Sunday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Yes! Most of our regular weekend acoustic sets, bluegrass picking circles, and afternoon performances at The Run In Shed are free for all visitors. Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome.
Leashed, well-behaved pets are warmly welcomed in our outdoor courtyard, lawn, and The Run In Shed seating area!
